ROLE – Manufacturing Engineer

SALARY - $100,000 - $130,000 per annum, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Adelaide, SA

My client is a leading manufacturer operating within a highly regulated production environment. They are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.

The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

- Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or similar position
- Experience within a pharmaceutical, chemical, food, medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience working on capital projects from concept through to implementation
- Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or process optimisation
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and production systems
- Experience with process validation, commissioning and qualification activities




- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

The Manufacturing Engineer role will involve:

- Supporting the development, improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Managing and supporting capital projects including equipment upgrades, installations and new production systems
- Working other internal teams to implement process improvements
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and safety
- Supporting commissioning, qualification and validation activities for new and existing equipment
- Developing and maintaining process documentation, procedures and work instructions
- Investigating manufacturing issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Analysing production data and identifying opportunities for process optimisation
- Working with suppliers and contractors throughout capital projects and equipment installations
- Supporting the introduction of current products, processes and manufacturing equipment
