About the role

This is a hands-on Marketing Assistant role, perfect for someone early in their marketing career who wants broad exposure across content, social media, campaigns and events. You will work three days per week between Tuesday and Friday on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to discuss your preferred working days and agree on a consistent schedule prior to commencement.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, create and schedule engaging organic content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, including product walkaround reels, customer handovers, new product features, educational content and behind-the-scenes footage

- Manage the day-to-day activity of Caravanland's social media channels, including publishing content, responding to comments and engaging with the online community

- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with current promotions, product launches, dealership events and relevant trends

- Ensure all social media content maintains Caravanland's brand voice, visual identity and messaging

- Plan, film, edit and publish video content for Caravanland's YouTube channel, including caravan walkarounds, product tutorials, service tips and educational videos

- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro to produce engaging, professional videos

- Design eye-catching video thumbnails using Canva

- Upload and maintain new and pre-loved caravan, camper and motorhome stock listings on the Caravanland website





- Assist with the planning and execution of social media content for Caravanland's major trade events, including the Perth Caravan & Camping Show and the 4WD & Adventure Show

- Capture engaging photo and video content during dealership events, customer activities and promotional campaigns

About you

- A relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related field (or currently studying towards one)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Basic skills in photography and videography, with an eye for creating engaging visual content
- A proactive, organised approach with a keen eye for detail
- A genuine interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation
- A collaborative and positive approach
- A willingness to learn and take direction

- Prior marketing experience (internship, part-time work or coursework projects) is desirable but not essential

- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and Meta Business Suite would be beneficial but is not essential

- Being comfortable occasionally appearing in social media content would be an advantage but is not essential
