Fastrak is currently seeking experienced workshop Mechanical Fitters for long term Perth metro workshop based roles.
About the job:
- Full time casual day shift
- Pay rate of $55 - $60 per hour
- New assembly work on mining fixed plant equipment
- General maintenance on mechanical components of mining plant along with inspections and other preventative action. This includes:
- Spiral conveyors / augers, germination vessels/boxes
- Related works with pumps, gearboxes, belt and drag chain conveyors, bucket elevators, vibrating screens
- Crusher rebuilds, hydraulics and other mechanical aspects
- Contemporary, clean and progressive workshops

About you:
- You must reside in Western Australia and have unrestricted working rights
- Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (or recognised equivalent)
- Workshop experience completing necessary mechanical fitting.
- Commitment to Company safety policies and procedures
- Recent experience in workshop mechanical fitting
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical
