Titan Ind is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a minimum 6-month project based in Rockhampton.

This is a excellent opportunity for a local Mechanical Fitter looking for consistent project work, a Monday to Thursday roster and a competitive casual rate.

We're looking for someone with solid hands-on experience maintaining and repairing conveyors/belts, bearings, motors and pumps who can hit the ground running.

The Opportunity

- $55–$65 per hour casual, depending on experience

- Monday to Thursday roster

- Minimum 6-month project

- Rockhampton-based – must be local to the area

- Consistent project work

About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be completing maintenance, repairs and mechanical work across a range of fixed plant and associated equipment.

Your work will include

- Maintenance and repairs to conveyor and belt systems

- Bearing inspection, replacement and maintenance

- Maintenance and repairs to motors and pumps





- Fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance

- Component removal and replacement

- Completing work safely and to site requirements

- Working as part of the project maintenance team

What You'll Need

- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualification

- Demonstrated experience working with belts/conveyors, bearings, motors and pumps

- Previous fixed plant or industrial maintenance experience

- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Strong commitment to safety

- Ability to pass relevant pre-employment requirements

- Must be local to Rockhampton or the surrounding area
