The role

As a Medical Administration Officer, you will be working within a cohesive team as the first point of contact for our patients. This is a full-time role based at our head office in Toowong. You will have the opportunity to work on the mobile clinics travelling to rural and remote Australia to assist with administration support for our patients, including billing duties, as well as conduct and assist with some clinical tests and procedures.

You will play a key role in the patient's journey, by:

- Providing exceptional customer service to our patients and referring doctors/specialists

- Answering calls and enquiries within a timely and professional manner

- Manage referrals and book various medical appointments ensuring accuracy





- Provide detailed preparation to our patients

- Obtain results and maintain accurate patient records

- Advising patients of correct billing for examinations

- Multi-task across various software programs

About you

You will be friendly, and respect sensitive information when speaking to our patients and referrers. Ideally, you will have the following:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- High organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and the ability to multi-task in a complex health and time sensitive environment

- Comprehensive computer literacy and typing proficiency
- An exceptional eye for detail
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service

- Previous medical experience will be highly regarded but not essential
