About the Organisation

Australia's energy transition needs infrastructure it can trust, and Source's client, PLUS ES, has built its reputation on exactly that. PLUS ES is a leading provider of metering and data services, operating at the intersection of technology, service and sustainability to power the energy and resource transition across the country. From resource retailers and networks to end consumers, PLUS ES delivers smarter infrastructure solutions backed by a relentless commitment to reliable, accurate measurement, data and insight, the foundations a sustainable energy future is built on.

PLUS ES is in an exciting period of transformation, guided by its purpose of creating a smarter sustainable future and its mission to deliver exceptional outcomes through digital infrastructure, insights and innovation, building toward its vision of a connected world built on intelligent infrastructure.

Every day, the team lives its values: staying safe, knowing no one goes it alone, being partners who listen first and deliver with care, staying curious, and choosing to own it.

It's a business that's looking for people who want to help shape what comes next in the space, not just watch it happen.

About the Role

Every meter installed on time, every stakeholder kept in the loop, every delay chased down before it becomes a problem, tells a story about how well an installation process actually works. This role is where that story gets coordinated from start to finish, and PLUS ES is looking for someone who takes real pride in making it happen.

As Metering Services Coordinator, you'll make sure electricity meters get installed at customer sites within the timeframes that matter, once a Direct Metering Agreement (DMA) has been signed. You'll be the connector between Sales, Brokers, Customers, Retailers and Operations, driving the end-to-end installation process, cutting out delays,

and keeping the right change request processes on track.

Some days you'll be reviewing an executed DMA to make sure everything checks out before it moves forward. Other days you'll be chasing down a customer or broker for the missing piece of information that's holding up an installation, or stepping in as the calm, capable voice when a complaint or dispute needs resolving.

You will work alongside Sales, Deployment, the BPO team, retailers, brokers, customers and Field Service Providers, all pulling together to get meters in the ground and customers looked after.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage the lifecycle of Direct Metering Agreements (DMAs) from execution through to meter installation.

- Review executed DMAs to make sure all the required information has been received and is ready to progress.

- Raise and coordinate Change Requests and Service Orders within the required timeframes to keep installations moving.

- Track and report on the status of metering requests, making sure everything progresses in line with agreed service levels.

- Liaise with retailers, brokers, customers, metering providers and internal stakeholders to resolve delays and gather what's needed to keep things moving.

- Follow up outstanding actions with customers, brokers and retailers, whether that's site access or an in office defect standing in the way.

- Act as an escalation point for customer complaints, disputes and stakeholder enquiries relating to NMI administration and market transactions.

- Partner with the BPO teams to manage exceptions and lift performance and service quality.

- Help drive process, system and control improvements that lift data integrity and customer outcomes.

About You

You're a natural coordinator who thrives when there are multiple moving parts and people relying on you to bring them together. You bring at least five years' experience in utilities, metering, market operations or another NEM-facing environment, along with a High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.

What makes you stand out is your ability to stay across the detail without losing sight of the customer at the other end of it. You bring strong analytical, problem-solving and investigation skills, a genuine focus on resolving issues rather than just logging them, and the kind of communication style that works just as well with a retailer as it does with a customer having a tough day.

Knowledge of NMI lifecycle management within Commercial and Industrial settings, experience with Direct Metering Agreements, and comfort using SAP, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office will all help you hit the ground running, though your attention to detail and follow-through matter most.

Why Apply?

This is your chance to be the person who keeps a critical part of Australia's energy infrastructure moving, with genuine ownership over how installations get delivered, in a team guided by creating a smarter sustainable future and values of Safety, Team, Customer, Innovation and Accountability that it lives by every day.

How to Apply

If you are a detail-oriented coordinator who takes real pride in getting things over the line, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter addressing the key requirements of the role.

This organisation is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
