We are seeking an experienced Migration Lead to deliver complex data center and application migration initiatives. This role will focus on end-to-end migration planning, execution, and coordination, including managing application portfolios and working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful, low-risk transitions.

looking at someone who has hands on experience with DC migration, and they are looking at 300 application migration within 1.5 years.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of complex data centre and application migrations.
- Develop and manage detailed migration strategies, plans, schedules and roadmaps.
- Manage application portfolios, migration dependencies, sequencing and priorities.




- Coordinate internal technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Lead migration readiness, cutover planning, execution and post-migration activities.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and interdependencies.
- Ensure migration activities align with project timelines, governance and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and regular project/migration meetings with key stakeholders.
- Track progress, milestones, deliverables and provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate testing, validation, rollback planning and transition to operational teams.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, governance and change management processes are followed.
- Proactively resolve migration issues and drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Key Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, Migration Lead or Technical Project Manager.
- Strong experience delivering Data Centre and/or Application Migration projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex application portfolios and migration roadmaps.
- Robust understanding of migration planning, cutover, transition and business continuity.
- Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, vendors and stakeholders.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency and project governance management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex technology environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive delivery across cross-functional teams.
