Redstone Recruitment is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for mine site health roles across the Pilbara. Casual opportunities and fixed-term contracts
You’ll work an 8 days on, 6 days off or 7 days on, 7 days off roster, including day and night shifts of up to 12.25 hours.
This is a diverse site medical role. Your emergency skills will be vital when incidents occur, but much of your work will focus on occupational health, workforce assessments and day-to-day clinical care.
The role
- Assess and treat workers presenting to the site medical centre
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid
- Conduct pre-employment medicals, health screenings, and drug and alcohol testing
- Provide health advice and support workplace health initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical records and work with the wider site team
- Make clinical decisions independently within site medical guidelines
What you’ll need
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Full Australian working rights
- At least two years’ RN experience in emergency, remote or occupational health settings
- Current CPR certificate
- Manual C class driver’s licence
- National Police Clearance issued within the last three months
- Cannulation competency
- Drug and Alcohol Tester Certificate (HLTPAT005)
- Advanced First Aid, ALS1 or ALS2 certificate
- Confidence working autonomously and on night shifts
A Certificate III in Response and Rescue is desirable. A relevant site induction completed within the past 12 months is highly advantageous.
