As the Group Manager, Procurement, this is a rare chance to lead the transformation of a procurement function within a large, complex industrial business.

We're looking for a commercially astute procurement leader to develop and execute an enterprise-wide cost optimisation strategy, build a high-performing team, and position Procurement as a true strategic partner to the business.

This is not a BAU leadership role. You'll have the mandate to shape the function, influence executive stakeholders, drive sustainable savings, and deliver long-term commercial value across a multi-site operation.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the Procurement function across a large national manufacturing and operational footprint.
- Develop and deliver a procurement-led cost optimisation and value creation program.
- Drive strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance and commercial negotiations across major operational spend.
- Improve procurement governance, systems, reporting and purchasing processes.
- Build a strong savings pipeline, strengthen supplier partnerships and develop a high-performing procurement team.




- Play a key role in the organisation's procurement transformation and future technology roadmap.

What We're Looking For

- Proven senior procurement leadership experience within a complex, asset-intensive environment.
- Demonstrated success delivering procurement transformation, cost optimisation and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Strong capability across strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management and contract management.
- An influential leader who can engage executives, operations, engineering and project stakeholders alike.
- Experience within manufacturing, mining, energy, infrastructure, agriculture or other heavy industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
