Role Description The Neuroscientist will work on-site at our Richmond, VIC clinic in a part time capacity, collaborating closely with neurologists and other health professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting neuroscience research studies, analyzing clinical and experimental data, and contributing to the development of evidence-based treatment protocols. The role involves applying cognitive and computational neuroscience methods, supporting EEG-based assessments, and translating research findings into practical insights for clinical care.
The Neuroscientist will also prepare reports and presentations, participate in case discussions,
and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and innovation within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computational Neuroscience and data analysis methods relevant to clinical and experimental work.
- Candidates should possess experience with EEG acquisition, interpretation, and integration into research or clinical practice.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated Research skills, including study design, data collection, statistical analysis, and scientific writing.
- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in Neuroscience or a closely related field is preferred.
- Experience working in clinical or healthcare settings and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
