About the Role

As our NPD Project Manager, you will be the central point of coordination for multiple product development projects, ensuring they move efficiently from concept to commercialisation. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Sydney site.

You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to establish project scope, timelines and deliverables, keep projects on track, identify risks, and resolve issues before they become roadblocks.

You’ll have visibility across the entire product development lifecycle and will work with a broad range of stakeholders including R&D;, Quality, Regulatory, Operations,



Supply Chain, Packaging, Sales and Customers.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Project Planning and Execution: Drive the planning and execution of project schedules for customer-requested NPD and EPD initiatives, including confirming project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Stage-Gate Management: Manage the Stage-Gate system for the product development process to ensure systematic progression and achievement of milestones.
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all projects through the Stage-Gate system, maintain master project status documentation, and lead decision-milestone meetings with management.
- Process Compliance: Follow NPD Work Instructions to ensure proper steps, documentation, and approvals are achieved throughout the development process.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination: Communicate and negotiate with packaging suppliers and maintain timely alignment across internal departments (R&D;, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality).
- Customer Insights: Develop a deep understanding of customers' brands and collaborate with the Sales Team to identify NPD opportunities aligned with market trends.
- Technical & Quality Collaboration: Partner with R&D; to commercialise compliant formulations and work with Quality teams to ensure finished goods meet customer expectations.

What we’re looking for





We’re looking for someone who can own a project, bring people together and make things happen.

- Proven experience in NPD, product development, project management or commercialisation.
- Experience managing multiple projects from concept to delivery.
- Experience in beauty, personal care, FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing.
- Robust understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong project planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commercial, big-picture mindset.
- Experience working within a contract/private-label manufacturing environment.

It would be great if you also have:

- Experience with Stage-Gate NPD processes and packaging suppliers.
- Knowledge of GMP, quality systems and cosmetic/personal care regulations.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
