About the Role

We’re looking for Occupational Therapists to join a supportive and collaborative team delivering community-based services across Brisbane. Opportunities are available for both experienced and Senior Occupational Therapists, with the role offering the chance to work directly with older adults in their own homes and provide practical, person-centred support to help clients remain safe, independent and living well at home.

Your Caseload

- Community aged care clients
- Home Care Package (HCP) clients
- Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) clients
- Functional assessments
- Falls prevention
- Assistive technology prescriptions
- Home modifications
- Activities of daily living and independence support

What You’ll Be Doing

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments in clients’ homes.
- Complete functional assessments, clinical reports and recommendations.
- Recommend assistive technology and home modifications.
- Develop personalised intervention plans based on client goals and needs.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, support networks and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage a community caseload with a high level of autonomy.




- Senior clinicians may also provide clinical guidance and support to less experienced OTs.

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with older adults in community, aged care, rehabilitation or sub-acute settings is highly regarded.
- Senior-level applicants should have several years' clinical experience and strong clinical reasoning skills.
- Confident working independently and managing a community caseload.
- Experience with Seating and Home (SaH) and Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) is desirable, or a willingness to develop these skills.
- Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
