FUNdurba Kids' Club is a community-based Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service located at Undurba State School. We're looking for reliable, positive, and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our supportive team.

About the Role
As a Casual Educator, you will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. You'll support the delivery of activities, build positive relationships with children and families, contribute to programme planning and documentation, and work collaboratively with a team that genuinely cares about its community.

What the Role Looks Like
Before School Care
- Approximately 7:00am to 9:00am
After School Care
- Approximately 2:15pm to 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Vacation Care and Student Free Days
- Approximately 5.5-hour shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm
Hours
- Average 10-15 hours per week
- Additional shifts may be available during vacation care periods
- While flexibility is important, we aim to provide consistent shifts wherever possible to support continuity of care for children and families
This Role Could Suit
- University students studying education, teaching, allied health, or related fields
- Educators currently working towards a childcare qualification
- Individuals returning to the workforce
- Anyone seeking meaningful, adaptable work within a supportive team environment
What You'll Need
- Certificate III, Diploma, Gecko Child Safety Training, currently studying, or willingness to work towards a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related field
- Current Queensland Paid Blue Card
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain
- Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time, Our Place framework, or willingness to learn
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
