About the role

Jenmill Pty Ltd is seeking a Packer to join our dynamic team at our Tottenham, VIC facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing and logistics operations. We are particularly interested in candidates who speak Vietnamese, as this language skill is advantageous for our diverse workplace.

You will be responsible for preparing products for shipment with precision and care, ensuring that every item meets our quality standards before it leaves our warehouse. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and timely delivery to our customers.

What you'll be doing

- Receiving and inspecting products for quality and completeness prior to packing

- Accurately picking items from stock shelves according to order specifications and picking lists

- Carefully packing products into appropriate boxes or containers using proper protective materials to prevent damage

- Applying labels and documentation to packages with attention to detail

- Weighing packages and verifying that shipments meet size and weight requirements

- Operating basic warehouse equipment such as scales, tape machines and packing stations

- Organising and maintaining a clean, safe and productive work area

- Stacking and organising packed items for collection and dispatch

- Recording packing activities and maintaining accurate inventory records

- Following all health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times

- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse or similar role within manufacturing or logistics environments

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet quality standards

- Physical capability to lift and move items regularly,



with ability to work on your feet for extended periods

- Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet packing deadlines

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently as well as part of a team

- Basic numeracy skills for weighing packages and recording information

- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards in the workplace

- Vietnamese language skills (advantageous but not essential)

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
