Get to know the Role:

Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity for a casual Parcel Delivery Driver to join our busy team at our Darwin branch.

Advantages:

- Weekly pay cycle
- 7.00AM starts - must be available to work MONDAY to FRIDAY
- Work close to home

Duties:

- Pick ups and multi-drop deliveries to customers
- Maintain runsheets and PDA during the day
- Manual handling
- Ensure load is compliant
- Aid in loading and strapping the vehicle where required
- Tailgate, pallet breakdown and hand unloads may be required

Skills and Experience:

- Minimum LR Licence required
- Must be fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
- Ability to provide a up to date driving record
- Great local knowledge of Darwin and surrounding areas
- Basic awareness of Dangerous Goods handling and safety requirements
- Willingness to complete a police check and a pre-employment medical that includes a drug and alcohol test
- Minimum 1-2 years commercial driving experience required
