We are partnering with a For-Purpose organisation to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the organisation’s payroll function and ensure employees are paid accurately, efficiently and on time.

This is an opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder management and process improvement, while working within an organisation that makes a meaningful difference.

Key responsibilities will include

- Managing the end-to-end payroll function across the organisation
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Overseeing payroll compliance, including awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation requirements
- Managing payroll reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes
- Working closely with People & Culture to ensure employee data and payroll processes are accurately maintained




- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
- Maintaining strong payroll controls and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

You will bring:
- Solid experience managing end-to-end payroll
- Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and employment conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The confidence to manage complex payroll queries and provide practical advice
- Experience leading or mentoring a payroll team
- A proactive approach to process improvement and systems optimisation
- Experience in For-Purpose is highly regarded
