We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Payroll Officer to join our team on a full time basis.
This role encompasses all facets of Payroll, HR and Training so this role would be suited to someone who can manage completing priorities, work to deadlines and happy to step in and assist wherever needed.
The position is full time, with flexibility to provide holiday coverage if required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include
- Accurate data entry and processing of fortnightly Payroll thru MYOB and STP2
- Processing of fortnightly PAYG and Superannuation contributions.
- HR administration and employee onboarding and documentation
- Updating and maintaining Award rates and Award regulations
- Coordination and recording of employee training, inductions etc
- Maintenance of company records
- Preparing and maintaining documents, spreadsheets and records using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Assisting with filing,
correspondence and general office organisation
- Providing additional administrative support to the wider team as required
- Helping provide office coverage during busy periods and staff leave
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- MYOB Accountright experience preferred
- Employment Hero experience preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Confident managing a variety of administrative tasks
- Comfortable working in a busy environment and adapting to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experienced in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
- A clear and professional communicator
- Willing to take initiative and assist across different areas of the business
Previous experience with payroll, HR administration, employee onboarding and/or training coordination would also be advantageous.
The successful applicant will need to have some flexibility with working hours and be available to commence work from 6:00am on some days when required.
