We are seeking a Payroll Officer (2 days per week) to join our finance team based at Wayville. Annual salary will be commensurate with hours worked.

About the role

- End to end processing of weekly payroll

- Superannuation, payroll tax, STP2 reporting, visa tracking

- Calculate, monitor and report on Return To Work payments

- Maintain employee data base

- Respond to payroll queries and report and resolve any issues

- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees

- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations as required

- Support system updates and improvements





- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll requirements

What we are looking for

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, award interpretation and best practices

- Proficient in the use of payroll software (experience with Tanda advantageous) and Microsoft suite

- Excellent attention to detail

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
