-at least 2 years of experience as a Contract Administrator or related role
n
Identify and prepare a list of suitable subcontractors for a project.
n
Prepare tender packages (including scope of works, drawing transmittals, specifications) and distribute to identified subcontractors.
n
Receive and review all submitted tender packages for correct scope of works so best possible price and services can be obtained.
n
Review subcontractor financial and performance status, insurance, entitlements, other legal requirements.
n
Negotiate subcontractor contract prices and conditions and prepare final contract documents.
n
Prepare trade comparison and quotation summary forms for approval.
n
Complete payment schedules for subcontracts in accordance with building industry Security of Payments Act (SOPA).
n
Assess, approve and process subcontract and head contract progress claims as required.
n
Review and approve subcontractor progress payments and creditor invoices.
n
Analyse budgets to achieve management targets.
n
Prepare project cash flows and update on a regular basis.
n
Prepare and submit timely and accurate Progress Claims and Variations in accordance with contract conditions to ensure a positive cash flow position for the project.
n
Process and co-ordinate all Requests for Information (RFI) to relevant parties ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
