We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term, full-time contract. We are also open to considering applications from candidates seeking a 0.8 FTE arrangement.

Reporting to the Payroll Specialist, you'll play an important role in delivering end-to-end payroll services for a large and diverse workforce. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values accuracy, continuous improvement, and exceptional service.

What You'll Be Doing

As a trusted payroll professional, you will:

- Process fortnightly payroll activities accurately and on time.
- Manage employee payroll transactions, including allowances, entitlements, terminations, and manual payments.
- Respond to payroll enquiries and provide high-quality customer service to employees and leaders.
- Support payroll reporting, compliance requirements, and data integrity activities.
- Work closely with Payroll and People & Culture colleagues to deliver efficient and seamless payroll outcomes.

About You

You're a detail-oriented and customer-focused payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting things right.

To be successful, you will bring:





- Previous payroll experience within a medium to large organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
