We are looking for an organised and adaptable person to join our Adelaide team.

This is a varied role combining responsibility for monthly payroll with practical support across HR, office coordination, purchasing and health & safety. It would suit someone who enjoys working with systems and data but is equally comfortable helping people, coordinating activities and supporting the day-to-day needs of a busy manufacturing site.

You do not need to be an expert across every area from day one. What is most important is your attention to detail, willingness to learn, sound judgement and ability to follow through.

Key responsibilities

- Complete end to end monthly payroll accurately and within required deadlines
- Process approved employee commencements, changes, terminations, leave, allowances and deductions
- Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and managers

- Complete annualised salary checks
- Prepare payroll journals, costing reports, reconciliations and end-of-month reporting
- Develop backup capability across weekly payroll,



timesheets and time and attendance processes
- Assist with recruitment administration, inductions, training records and employee documentation
- Provide administrative support for return-to-work matters under the direction of HR
- Coordinate local events and general office activities
- Provide backup across purchasing and HSEQ administration

- Strong attention to detail
- Good administration, data-entry, spreadsheet and reporting skills
- Confidence learning new systems, tools and processes
- The ability to handle payroll and employee information confidentially
- Explicit and respectful communication skills
- A practical, flexible approach and willingness to assist across different areas
- Curiosity and an interest in improving systems and ways of working
- Previous experience with Micropay or Humanforce would be beneficial, but the ability and willingness to learn are equally important
