IGH is seeking a dedicated Plant Export Authorised Officer (AO) to join our Spearwood team.

As an AO you will be required to ensure compliance with export regulations and standards. The role involves overseeing the export process, conducting inspections to ensure the biosecurity risk-free, and safe export of our grain commodities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regulatory export inspections on grain commodities, ensuring compliance with stringent international biosecurity and phytosanitary standards.
- Protocol market inspections for packaged goods and bulk into containers.
- Installing bulkheads into containers
- Uploading documents to PEMS
- Receiving and processing bulk grain trucks

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an AO in a relevant agricultural or biosecurity or export compliance role.
- Has a forklift licence.
- Possesses strong organisational and time management skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has proficiency in using computer software including PEMS.
- Is reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting operational outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian export legislation,



including the Biosecurity Act 2015 and relevant phytosanitary requirements.
- Can effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

- Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, agriculture, mining, or bulk commodity industries.
- Exposure to container logistics and export operations.
