Working across mining and civil projects throughout the Mudgee region and surrounds, we’re looking for reliable, experienced operators to join our crew across a range of current and upcoming projects.

Experienced Plant Operator

WTC is actively seeking experienced plant operators to join our growing team. As a plant operator, you will play a crucial role in our diverse projects across our mining and civil business units.

Current positions available include:

- Dozer Operators

- Excavator Operators

- Articulated Haul Truck Operators

- Water Cart Operators

- Grader Operators

Hourly rates for the above roles will be based on experience and qualifications. Roster arrangements are available for the right candidates.

To be considered for these roles you must:

- Hold RII tickets or equivalent for one or more of the above-mentioned machines and be able to provide evidence of this is an advantage.

- White Card.

- Current driver’s licence.

- Possess a valid Order 43 Medical or be prepared to undergo an Order 43 Medical assessment and obtain clearance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operational excellence:



Demonstrate proficiency and self-motivation in operating equipment.

- Safety focus: Prioritise and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all operational activities.

- Equipment expertise: Showcase your hands-on experience with 2 years of operating.

- Qualifications: Possess RII tickets or equivalent qualifications for one or more of the specified machines.

- Work Referees: Provide contact details of at least three work referees who can attest to your skills and performance.

To excel in this role, you will need:

- Experience and qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience is desirable but not essential .

- Problem-solving skills: Demonstrate a proven ability to solve operational challenges and adapt to varying project requirements.

- Work ethic: Maintain a robust work ethic, taking pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

- Precision: Exhibit accuracy and reliability in equipment operation.

- Attention to detail: Strike a balance between urgency and attention to detail, ensuring efficient and accurate project execution.

- Communication skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
