As the Principal Business Manager (QC Labs), you'll play a pivotal role in transforming a nationally significant facility into a thriving hub for industry, government and research collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to help drive the commercial growth of Queensland's emerging quantum and advanced technologies sector while building strategic partnerships that deliver real-world impact.

Working within UniSQ's Commercialisation and Partnerships team, you'll collaborate with researchers, industry leaders, government stakeholders and funding bodies to expand the reach, reputation and commercial success of QC Labs.

Whether you're negotiating partnerships, identifying new funding opportunities or developing commercial frameworks, you're motivated by the chance to shape something new and deliver meaningful impact.

What you'll do In this influential leadership role, you'll drive the commercial growth and strategic direction of QC Labs, building partnerships, developing new opportunities and establishing the frameworks needed to position the facility as a leading hub for quantum and advanced technology innovation.

- Lead the establishment and ongoing management of QC Labs' commercial operations framework, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships across industry, government and academia to increase engagement,

utilisation and impact of QC Labs.
- Drive business development, commercialisation and funding opportunities that generate research income, industry collaboration and broader economic and social outcomes.
- Develop governance, service delivery and industry engagement frameworks that support the effective operation and promotion of QC Labs and related advanced technology facilities.
- Represent UniSQ and QC Labs within national and international quantum and advanced technology networks, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

What will help you succeed
