Your key responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to policy development, service planning and reform initiatives relating to perinatal, infant, child and youth mental health services.

Undertake complex policy analysis and develop strategic advice, briefing notes, submissions, reports and options papers to inform executive and government decision-making.

Lead and manage stakeholder engagement and consultation activities with Hospital and Health Services, government agencies, non-government organisations, consumers, carers and other key partners.

Undertake market analysis, service evaluation and planning activities to support psychosocial support services and broader mental health system priorities.

How you will be assessed The essential requirements for this role are:

Demonstrated experience in policy development, strategic planning, service system reform, commissioning or related activities in a complex health, human services or government environment.

Demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical, evidence-informed policy advice and recommendations.

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality briefs, reports, submissions and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and influence outcomes.
