Operating Wednesday - Sunday, the Kurrajong Hotel will serve lunch and dinner, expanding into breakfast in coming weeks, making it a true hub for locals and visitors alike.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our energetic kitchen team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence in the hospitality and catering industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a desire to contribute to a vibrant dining experience. FULL TIME

Responsibilities:
n

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
n
Assist in the management of kitchen operations,



including inventory control and food safety compliance.
n
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
n
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop recent menu items and seasonal offerings.
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
n
Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
n
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
n

Qualifications:
n
n
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
n
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
n
Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
n
Excellent cooking skills and a passion for food.
n
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
n
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
n
