Process & Change Analyst - Data Transformation

9-month contract | Daily rate | Data and Reporting Transformation

We are looking for a hands-on Process & Technology Analyst to support a major uplift of an organisation’s data, reporting and analytics environment. The program is moving information from several existing systems into a centralised cloud data platform while redesigning data flows, reporting solutions and self-service analytics.

The focus of this role is not simply communications or high-level change planning. You will work directly with business and technology teams to understand operational impacts, redesign processes, prepare people for new responsibilities and ensure the solution can be supported effectively after implementation.

Your contribution

- Lead process discovery and future-state design workshops
- Complete business and operational impact assessments
- Translate technical changes into practical impacts for teams and end users
- Define current processes, responsibilities, support arrangements and escalation pathways
- Develop process maps, operating procedures, user guides and readiness materials
- Assess capability gaps and help shape the training approach
- Coordinate knowledge transfer between delivery teams and ongoing support functions
- Support implementation readiness, adoption activities and post-project handover
- Work across internal teams and external delivery partners to maintain alignment




- Identify risks that could affect adoption, supportability or operational readiness
- Help establish internal champions and communities to support ongoing adoption

Your background You will bring strong experience across business analysis, process improvement and organisational change within a complex technology environment. You should be comfortable moving between business, functional and technical discussions and producing documentation that is clear, practical and fit for purpose.

Experience with enterprise data platforms, Snowflake, Power BI, reporting transformation or data warehouse programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and process-mapping tools such as Visio or Miro would also be beneficial.

The role is based in Melbourne CBD and requires a minimum of three days per week onsite . It is offered as a 9-month daily rate contract .
