This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with food, cares about quality and consistency, and is happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed.

- Following all food safety and hygiene requirements

- Working closely with the kitchen and management team to keep production on track

The Hours

with some flexibility required for occasional earlier starts depending on production requirements.

The regular working pattern will be Sunday through Thursday.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous commercial cooking experience

- Enjoys working with food and takes pride in what they produce

- Understands the importance of quality and consistency when producing food in batches

- Can follow recipes and processes accurately

- Has a good eye for detail

- Works well in a busy production environment

- Is organised, reliable and happy to get stuck in

- Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team

- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with food

Baking or pastry experience is preferred, but not essential.

Experience in a bakery, café, restaurant, catering or food production environment will be highly regarded.

What’s In It For You?

- Full time position, Sunday–Thursday

- Primarily day shifts, generally finishing around 6pm

- Competitive salary package based on experience

- Hands-on role within a growing independent food business

- Plenty of variety across cooking, preparation and production

- Opportunity to contribute ideas and help develop new products
- A chance to see the food you make hitting the shelves in our stores

Before You Join Us

As part of the recruitment process, we’ll arrange a short trial so you can get a feel for the kitchen, the team and the role.

Sound like you?

If you’re a cook who takes pride in good food, enjoys working as part of a team and likes keeping busy, we’d love to hear from you.
