About the role

Metroll Victoria PTY LTD is seeking a Production Manager to join our operations team in Albury NSW.

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch. This includes manufacturing, transport, safety and team performance. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the site while driving productivity, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands and delivery timelines

- Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations and supervising production team members

- Monitoring production performance against targets and implementing improvements where necessary

- Ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards and procedures throughout the production process

- Managing inventory levels and coordinating with supply chain to ensure adequate materials availability

- Liaising between sales, operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow

- Identifying bottlenecks in production processes and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency

- Maintaining accurate production records and reporting on key performance indicators

- Training and developing production staff to maintain high performance standards

- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on the production floor

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in production management or a similar manufacturing supervisory role ideally within a medium to large-scale production workplace

- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling systems and inventory management practices





- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting tight deadlines

- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on operational efficiency

- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and familiarity with relevant industry standards

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A proactive approach to health and safety compliance in the workplace

- Applicant will require a forklift licence or be willing to obtain one
