Job Title: Production Worker – Ingredient Manufacturer
Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Workers at our ingredient manufacturing facility in Eagle Farm. This role provides an opportunity to start on a casual basis with the potential to transition to a permanent full-time position. Our ideal candidate is someone looking for secure, ongoing employment and interested in becoming an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the ingredient preparation process by picking up 20kg bags and placing them into forklift hopper buckets.
- Operate within the mixing room by opening ingredient bags and tipping contents into the mixing hopper.
- Dispose of empty ingredient bags properly.
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing fit-tested masks during specific mixing operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Adhere to the work schedule, which is Monday to Friday from 5 am to 1 pm, with occasional overtime opportunities.
- Ensure punctual and reliable attendance to contribute to a consistent production workflow.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and healthy, comfortable with lifting and maneuvering heavy bags over short distances.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment such as masks, coveralls, and hairnets.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Open to feedback and willing to adapt to company procedures.
