Prior use and experience of construction software is desirable, but training will be given if required.

About the Position The Project Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for producing joinery quotes from site measures and working drawings to be ready for submission in a timely manner.
This Position involves estimating architectural joinery projects, managing tenders, and coordinating all aspects of project delivery from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Produce joinery quotes from site measures and working drawings
- Estimate architectural joinery projects and revise and submit tenders
- Review construction documentation to create detailed scopes of work and material take offs
- Schedule internal and external labour and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and trades to cross-check pricing and timing
- Develop alternative construction techniques to minimise labour and material costings
- Attend on site meetings and liaise with the design team regarding concept plans and designs
- Track project costs, variations, progress claims and invoices
- Prepare purchase orders and carry out ordering and procurement activities
- Input job materials and labour data into Job Management Software and produce financial reports on project performance
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and clients and ensure efficient communication with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
About you
- Cert 4 in Building and Construction or Project Management (mandatory)
- Current White Card (mandatory)
- Current and unrestricted motor vehicle driver's license (mandatory)
- Related trade background with interior construction, demonstrating joinery knowledge and previous experience in similar roles
- Strong focus on coordination and communication
- Quick at solving problems when schedules change
- Fluent in computer applications and able to learn current software systems
- High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Committed to ensuring safety at all times on site and self-motivated
- Completed Trade Certification (Cert III) or similar (preferred but not essential)
