Clinicians at Internal Sunshine have extensive experience across schools, hospitals, community, and private practice settings. The practice focuses on respectful, collaborative engagement and a wide range of interventions designed to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Role Description This part-time Psychologist role is based in Beaconsfield, VIC and operates on a hybrid model, combining in-person sessions with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, delivering individual therapy, and developing treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.

The Psychologist will support clients across the lifespan, including neurodiverse individuals, and document clinical notes in line with ethical and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with families, schools, and other health professionals where appropriate, and participating in case discussions and supervision.

The Psychologist will also contribute to continuous improvement of services and uphold a respectful, client-centered practice culture.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, including knowledge of evidence-based therapies and lifespan development.
- Competence in Psychological Assessment,



including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized tools.
- Skills in Counseling and therapeutic engagement, with the ability to build secure, trusting relationships with diverse clients.
- Understanding of related Medicine and healthcare systems sufficient to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary contexts.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and full or provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience or clear interest in working with neurodiverse individuals and using neuroaffirmative, trauma-informed approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accurate case documentation and collaborative communication with families and referrers.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong professional ethics and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in school, community, hospital, or private practice settings is highly regarded.
