Your new role
Join the Logan Youth Alcohol and Drug Service (LADDERS) as a Senior Alcohol and Drug Clinician, providing high-level profession-specific clinical services within a collaborative multidisciplinary team to support improved outcomes for people experiencing substance use and mental health issues.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy clinical services, including assessment, intervention, treatment planning and evaluation of complex care needs.
- Provide senior clinical advice, support and supervision to less experienced clinicians, students and support staff, while contributing to a positive and collaborative interprofessional team setting.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based clinical practices, quality improvement initiatives, research and service development activities.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, carers, health professionals and community organisations to support person-centred care, effective clinical handover and positive service outcomes.
About You We are looking for an experienced and collaborative clinician who brings strong clinical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering high-quality alcohol and other drug services.
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge, skills and experience in delivering Psychology,
Social Work or Occupational Therapy clinical services, including managing complex presentations and prioritising competing clinical demands.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide high-level clinical advice and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to provide supervision, education and support to less experienced practitioners and students.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate clinical or service improvement initiatives.
