About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Qualified Baker to join our day bakery team at our Botany, NSW site.
This is a permanent full-time position working as part of an experienced bakery production team, producing high-quality artisan bread and bakery products at scale.
You'll work closely with the Site Operations team to ensure products are consistently produced to our quality, food safety and production standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Produce a range of quality bread and bakery products
- Follow established recipes, production processes and quality standards
- Prepare and handle ingredients accurately
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor products throughout the baking process
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Maintain a clean and organised production area
- Work collaboratively with the wider bakery and production team
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- A recognised baking qualification
- Previous commercial bakery experience
- Experience working in a production bakery environment
- Strong knowledge of baking processes and food safety requirements
- A commitment to quality and consistency
- The ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong reliability and attendance
- The ability to work in a quick-paced production environment
Availability
Our bakery operates 7 days a week, so flexibility with shift availability is essential.
The successful candidate will work 5 days per week, including one weekend day and four weekdays.
