We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join the Fuji SMBE Harwal Pty Ltd team. This is a full-time position based in Rydalmere, NSW 2116. This role is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. You will work closely with management and employees across the business to support quality, compliance, continuous improvement and effective workplace processes.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Monitor workflows and processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and maintain appropriate audit documentation and records.
- Liaise with management and employees regarding quality and compliance matters.
- Identify issues and support effective problem-solving and workload planning.
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Recommend improvements to efficiency, quality and business processes.
- Support meetings and quality-related initiatives as required.
- Ensure company policies, procedures and processes are understood and followed.
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant workplace in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to employees where required.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support quality objectives.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by your manager.
What we're looking for
- Understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Work Health & Safety policies and standards.
- Experience or understanding of internal auditing and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively with management and employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and workload requirements.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
