Are you passionate about quality, clinical governance and making a genuine difference to the way care and services are delivered?
Southern Cross Care WA is looking for an experienced Quality Support professional to join our Quality team. This position is a max-term full time position until January 2027.
Working closely with our General Manager Clinical Governance and Quality Manager, you will provide practical support and expertise across Residential Aged Care, Home Care, Mental Health and Disability services.
This is a hands on role where you’ll help strengthen quality systems, support accreditation readiness and drive continuous improvement, while working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
We’ll Also Be Asking You To
- Conduct quality audits, identify opportunities for improvement and support teams to implement meaningful outcomes.
- Drive and promote continuous quality improvement practices across our care and service areas.
- Support organisational preparedness for accreditation, including self assessments, evidence gathering and audit activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of systems and processes that meet accreditation, compliance and quality requirements.
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of our Clinical Governance Framework.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to embed contemporary, evidence based clinical care and quality practices.
- Assist with the development and delivery of education, training and resources relating to quality indicators, accreditation and clinical practice.
- Build strong relationships across Quality, Operations, Work Health and Safety,
IT and Learning & Development to strengthen capability and deliver consumer centred outcomes.
To Be Considered For This Role, You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a clinical or quality leadership role, ideally within aged care, health or community services.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, quality management principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting accreditation, re-accreditation and compliance activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong cooperative relationships and positively influence change.
- Strong organisation, analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and confidently use Microsoft Office and relevant clinical systems.
