About You You are an experienced general commercial/procurement lawyer with a minimum of 8 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience and Expertise
- Strong general commercial contracting experience, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements
- Experience supporting strategic procurement functions and providing legal advice across procurement activities and supplier engagements
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end contract lifecycles from instruction through to execution and implementation
- Experience negotiating complex commercial terms with suppliers, vendors and business stakeholders
- Ability to provide commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice aligned with business objectives
- Experience working within large or complex organisations and supporting multiple business units simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across legal, procurement and business teams
- Ability to identify legal, commercial and operational risks and provide practical solutions
- Experience advising on supplier management, contract variations, procurement processes and sourcing initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders
