Role Description The Registered Nurse Arabic Speaking will provide person-centered nursing care to clients receiving NDIS and Aged Care services at our on-site location in Chester Hill, NSW. This full-time role includes conducting health assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, managing wounds, and implementing care plans in line with clinical standards and organizational policies. The nurse will communicate with clients and families in both English and Arabic to explain care plans, provide education, and support informed decision-making.
Daily responsibilities also involve documenting clinical notes, collaborating with allied health staff and support workers,
participating in case conferences, and contributing to continuous improvement in client care. The role requires maintaining qualified boundaries, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines, and supporting clients to maximize independence and well-being.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant nursing board and eligibility to practice in NSW.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills for work with culturally and linguistically diverse clients.
- Demonstrated experience in community health, disability services, aged care, or related clinical settings.
- Sound clinical assessment, medication administration, wound care, and care planning capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care with allied health and support workers.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and compliance with clinical standards.
- Commitment to person-centered care, safeguarding, and adherence to NDIS and Aged Care quality and safety frameworks.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools and electronic health records; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally if required.
