As a Registered Nurse in our Cancer Care team, you’ll be part of a compassionate and highly skilled service supporting patients across Haematology and Oncology Day Care, Radiotherapy, and outpatient clinics. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe and specialised cancer treatment, including systemic therapies, while supporting patients through treatment-related side effects and the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including ADAC-trained nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs), Radiation Therapists, and Allied Health and Medical teams, to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred cancer care. In this role, you will utilise your clinical expertise, communication skills and empathy to build strong rapport and support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.You’ll also have opportunities to further develop your oncology nursing capability in a supportive workplace that values collaboration, professional growth and continuous learning.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus,
which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
