About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses who desire to under-take post-graduate course in Emergency Nursing. This course is suited to experienced emergency nurses looking to increase their knowledge and skill to take the next level of practice within the ED setting.

Positions are available for the 2027 course which is 12 months in duration commencing in February of 2027.

- Students will work in the Emergency Department with rotations to all shifts and days of the week, including weekends and night duty.
- Students will be expected to enrol in an approved university program & successfully complete that program & assessments as laid out by the University.
- Students are also expected to participate in tutorials run by GV Health to enhance their learning.
- FTE for this position is usually 64 hours per fortnight. The minimum is 48 hours per fortnight. Minimum clinical exposure needs to be at a minimum of 48 hours per fortnight, so where this is your contract hours your study leave will need to be accessed additional to clinical hours
