Revenue Manager
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this national role is responsible for protecting the quality and economic performance of COPE's revenue through pricing governance, margin protection, customer profitability analysis, commercial intelligence, and revenue quality management.
The Revenue
Manager will play a critical role in ensuring commercial decisions are supported by robust economic assessment and aligned with COPE's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing &
- Commercial Governance
- Lead pricing frameworks, rate cards, margin controls, and commercial guardrails.
- Govern pricing exceptions and non-standard commercial arrangements.
- Ensure pricing decisions align with approved commercial frameworks.
- Support informed decision-making through robust economic assessment.
Customer Profitability &
- Revenue Performance
- Monitor customer profitability across accounts, services, and regions.
- Identify opportunities for repricing, remediation, redesign, or controlled exit.
- Drive margin protection and revenue quality initiatives.
- Provide visibility of customer and service line performance.
Commercial Intelligence &
- Decision Support
- Act as the central source of commercial intelligence across pricing, profitability, pipeline economics, and revenue performance.
- Develop reporting and insights to support executive decision-making.
- Translate complex commercial data into practical recommendations and actions.
- Maintain governance and decision records for key commercial activities.
Stakeholder Engagement &
- Influence
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Executive leaders.
- Challenge assumptions and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Support commercial reviews, strategic initiatives, and revenue optimisation opportunities.
- Influence outcomes while maintaining commercial discipline and governance standards.
About You
You'll bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial, pricing, finance, revenue management, or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess profitability, cost-to-serve, margin performance, and revenue quality.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Robust communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience within transport, logistics, freight, supply chain, or a similarly complex operational environment will be highly regarded.
