The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Rostering Coordinator to manage and maintain effective rosters for Personal Support Workers providing in-home and community support.

As the first point of contact for clients regarding rostering and service delivery, you will ensure client needs are met while maintaining service continuity, compliance and staff wellbeing.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position to cover maternity leave, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Key responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for clients and families regarding rostering and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain rosters to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of services.
- Liaise with clients, families and PSWs to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
- Respond to last-minute absences, cancellations and urgent rostering requirements.
- Participate in recruitment of Personal Support Workers.
- Ensure rosters comply with the SCHADS Award, Fair Work requirements and NDIS requirements.




- Coordinate brokered care and liaise with external agencies as required.
- Work collaboratively with clinical, client services, payroll, finance and People & Culture teams.
- Maintain accurate roster and service delivery records.
- Contribute to improvements in rostering systems and processes.
- Participate in after-hours handover and provide on-call support when required.
- In consultation with the Work Health and Safety Business Partner, ensure appropriate return to work schedules

About You

You will be offered the right support to excel in this role, but we would love to see that you have:

- Minimum 2 years' rostering experience, preferably in disability or community services.
- Experience using rostering software - ShiftCare a bonus.
- High level communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level problem solving skills including conflict resolution
- Ability to work with people who come from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong Computer literacy
- Experience working with NDIS clients and diverse communities.
- Working knowledge of SCHADS Award and applicable conditions/requirements
- Flexibility to work after hours when required.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
