Sales Representative

Henderson Group is a leading supplier of greetings cards, gift packaging and stationery products in the Australian market. We are currently seeking an individual to fill a role servicing our Southern Gold Coast customers.

The successful applicant will sell a large range of quality products and service a variety of customers including independent supermarkets, newsagencies plus more.. A hunger to develop new business within this territory is also a key part of the role.

The advertised position requires monthly overnight country travel.

The individual we are looking for must be able to demonstrate the below qualities:

- An engaging people person with the ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships

- Highly motivated, results orientated leader with a confident approach to seeking current business

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence a positive outcome

- You have the ability/confidence to present to customers at all levels




- The ability to own the territory and treat the business as they would their own, whilst showing a genuine care for the customers business

- Have outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Have an eye for detail and an appreciation for well-merchandised displays

- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills

- Possess commercial acumen with strong analytical and reporting skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

The person we are looking for should have an honest and strong work ethic, immaculate merchandising skills and prepared to work the hours to achieve success. This position is a hands-on role and some heavy lifting would be required.
