You’ve built your career around securing IT environments, solving security challenges and helping organisations understand where they’re exposed. You’re comfortable across the technical landscape – networks, firewalls, cloud, applications, operating systems and identity – and equally confident briefing executives or diving into technical detail.

You may have come from security consulting, cyber security, security solutions or a more traditional security advisory background. What matters is that you understand IT security, can identify risk and know how to turn that into practical recommendations for a client.

Step into a pivotal role within Rodin’s established security capability. You’ll work closely with the leadership and technical teams to deliver and continue evolving security services that are practical, commercially relevant and aligned to the needs of clients.

You’ll provide security advice across client IT environments, contribute to solution design and help customers understand their vulnerabilities, risks and priorities. This could involve everything from networks, firewalls and cloud environments through to identity, endpoints, applications and broader cyber security controls.

You’ll manage penetration testing efforts and coordinate with trusted vendors, while also supporting risk assessments, security reviews and alignment with frameworks such as Essential Eight, NIST and ISO 27001.

Security isn’t just technical. You’ll run user awareness training,



lead tabletop exercises for incident readiness and contribute to incident response planning and execution – working alongside technical teams to ensure fast, effective action.

You’ll also work closely with our Business Development and Customer Success teams, bringing security expertise into client conversations, solution design and strategic reviews. Your ability to take a technical security issue and explain what it means from a business perspective will be critical.

From internal training to client presentations, webinars and sales enablement, you’ll act as a subject matter expert and help continue to build security capability across Rodin and its clients.

What You Bring to the Table

- Communication skills that cut through the noise – you can explain security risks and solutions clearly to technical teams, business owners and executives
- Strong knowledge of security across IT environments, including networks, firewalls, cloud, applications, operating systems, identity, endpoints, VPNs, databases and email
- Experience in security consulting, security solutions, cyber security, security architecture or security advisory
- The ability to assess an IT environment, identify security gaps and recommend practical solutions
- The technical credibility to work effectively with infrastructure and engineering teams
- An understanding of frameworks such as Essential Eight,



NIST CSF or ISO 27001 – you don’t need to be a policy specialist, but you understand how these translate into real-world security
- Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- A practical, commercially aware approach – you understand that the right security solution needs to work for the client and their environment
- Relevant security certifications or equivalent demonstrated experience
- MSP experience would be advantageous, but it isn’t essential. What’s more important is your ability to work across different IT environments, understand the security challenges and provide clients with transparent, credible guidance.
