Allied Health Assistant - Occupational Therapy

- Employment Type: Part-Time (45.6 hours/fortnight), Ongoing
- Salary: AHA Grade 3 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role:

Permanent part time (45.6hrs) Allied Health Assistant position working with the Community Occupational Therapy team. Our Community Occupational Therapy team of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants providing support to clients within the communities of Melton and Bacchus Marsh to remain and independent in their homes as possible.

The team works closely with the wider multidisciplinary team supporting clients to achieve their individualised goals and optimise their function and independence within the home and community. You will be well supported by an experienced team of Occupational Therapists.

Keyresponsibilities:

- Support assessments for small aids, equipment, and other items such as personal alarms.
- Supporting the Occupational Therapists in day-to-day tasks.
- Supporting group education programs as required.

Aboutyou:

- Has a Certificate IV qualification in Allied Health Assistance.
- Has highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Has a passion for delivering high-quality care working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
