About the Role

We're looking for a genuine hospitality leader to join our management team as Assistant Venue Manager.

This is a full-time role, working flexibly across a 7-day trading week including evenings and weekends,

supporting the General Manager of 16 years and leading the floor during your rostered shifts.

You'll be the senior manager on duty when rostered, responsible for keeping service running smoothly,

your team supported, and guests looked after, with real scope to grow into broader venue leadership as you prove yourself.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead assigned shifts as the senior manager on duty, front to back
- Staff deployment, guest recovery, and clear handovers between shifts
- Support the General Manager with rostering, staffing coordination and coverage
- Coach and support the floor team during service




- Oversee stock and cash procedures during your shifts
- Support the delivery of functions and events
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues
- Provide after-hours motel guest support when arranged

What We're Looking For

- Strong F&B; back-ground need only apply
- Ideally POS / Nowbookit / BOH literate
- Previous experience in a hospitality Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role
- leadership skills that understand consistency and have a genuine passion for guest services
- Flexibility to work across a 5 day roster, including evenings and weekends
- Approved Manager's Card highly is essential
