Looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join an elite team with ex-Google pedigree to lead workflow orchestration and cloud-native microservices.
What you'll do:
- Build automated data pipelines with Google Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
- Architect high-performance async microservices using Python 3.x & FastAPI
- Deploy containerized solutions on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub)
- Modernize & package client-facing SDKs and APIs
What you bring:
- 5+ years in backend engineering, data orchestration & microservices
- Hands-on mastery of Python 3.x, AsyncIO, and FastAPI
- Deep experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer and energetic DAGs
- Based in Victoria with full Australian work rights
