About The Role Partum Engineering is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Hobart team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer with strong overhead and underground distribution design experience to take ownership of a range of power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver overhead and underground LV, MV and HV distribution designs
- Prepare engineering designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation
- Work with clients, utilities, contractors and project teams
- Review designs and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers




- Ensure designs meet relevant Australian Standards and utility requirements
- Provide technical support throughout project delivery
- Mentor and support junior engineers

About you

- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience in electrical distribution design
- Experience across both overhead and underground networks
- Knowledge of LV, MV and/or HV systems
- Experience with Australian utilities, network operators or engineering consultancies
- Solid understanding of relevant standards and utility requirements
- Confident managing projects and stakeholder relationships

Experience with Australian network operators will be highly regarded.
