Role Description The Senior Designer, Residential and Passive House (Archicad) is a full-time, on-site role located in Western Australia, Australia. This position is responsible for leading the design of contemporary residential projects and passive house developments, including concept design, schematic layouts, and detailed documentation in Archicad. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with clients and consultants, preparing drawings and 3D models, ensuring designs meet passive house and local regulatory standards, and supporting sustainable material and systems selection.





The role involves overseeing design workflows, reviewing project deliverables, and contributing to design reviews to maintain quality and consistency across projects.

The Senior

Designer also mentors junior team members and supports project management activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Architecture and Residential Architectural Design, with demonstrated experience in modern and sustainable housing.
- Proficiency in Archicad and related design software, with skills in Integration of design workflows and digital documentation.
- Experience in Project Management, including coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and overseeing design deliverables.
- Knowledge of passive house principles, energy-efficient design, and relevant Australian building codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; registration or progress toward registration as an architect is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site studio environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high-quality, sustainable design outcomes.
