About the role

Join the NSW Department of Education and help shape how digital transformation supports better outcomes for children, families and early learning services across NSW.

We are seeking two Senior Digital Change Officers to support the delivery of a major digital program within the Early Childhood Outcomes Division.

In this role, you will:

- Lead change, readiness and adoption of new digital systems and processes.
- Build strong relationships with program teams and external stakeholders.
- Deliver explicit communications, training and practical change support.

You will work in an agile and dynamic environment, providing practical, evidence-based advice to help early learning providers and stakeholders confidently transition to new ways of working.

About you

- Experience delivering change within digital or transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder, communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to turn complex change into clear, practical guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across competing priorities.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach focused on practical outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

Relevant qualification in change, project management,



or business and/ or relevant years’ experience.

- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
